T30 Turbine Air Starters
Available in pre-engaged and inertia-engaged models, the T30 generates up to 25% more stall torque than other starters in its class. Its highly efficient twin-turbine motor design gives you more cranking power with less air for faster starts. Unlike starters that require a mechanical automatic trip valve (ATV), the T30 uses aerodynamics to control motor speed, giving you total control over the start cycle. Click here for more information on T30 Turbine Air Starters.
Torque range: 24 to 135 lb-ft (32 to 183 Nm)
Typical applications: Diesel and gas engines up to 20 liters such as Cummins 6BT5.9
T50 Turbine Air Starters
TDI T50 pre-engaged and inertia-engaged air starters are versatile, mid-size options designed for a wide variety of engines. The T50 offers the most power and torque per unit of air and is the lightest air starter in its class, weighing as little as 34 lb. Click here for more information on T50 Turbine Air Starters.
Torque range: 80 to 240 lb-ft (108 to 325 Nm)
Typical applications: Diesel and gas engines up to 80 liters such as Caterpillar 3500 series, Cummins KTA50 and QSK45, and Detroit Diesel 16V4000

TurboFlow Air Regulators
The TDI TurboFlow air regulator minimizes the pressure drop to the starter “in a dynamic manner” under high flow conditions. That’s how the high Cv factor on the TurboFlow makes available more useable air pressure in the tank. This translates to greater air flow delivered to the air starter motor, even at low pressures, and more starts on a fixed air volume.
Operating range: 50 to 580 psig (3.5 to 40 BAR)

TurboGuard Smart Starters
TDI’s TurboGuard Smart Starter provides the protection you need against hydrolock engine damage. Hydrolock occurs when an engine is started with coolant in a cylinder. TurboGuard detects the presence of fluids or other obstructions in the cylinders during the start sequence and automatically shuts down the starting process before damage occurs.
Typical applications: workboats and marine engines, engines with long periods between starts, engines with remote starts
TurboStartTwo Turbine Air Starters
The TDI TurboStartTwo is an Integral Start System that includes 1) a powerful air motor, 2) built-in controls with pre-programmed safeguard logic, 3) a flow-match relay valve, 4) an electric solenoid, 5) an integral muffler, 6) both pilot air control lines/fittings, 7) a simple plug-in interface to your engine control. It even has an emergency manual bypass provision, allowing you to start just on air if need be. Click here for more information on TurboStartTwo Turbine Air Starters.
Torque range: Up to 325 lb-ft (440 Nm)
Typical applications: Engines from 20-150 liters such as Caterpillar C32 and Wärtsilä W200
